We are here with another travel post, and this time it is an international travel from India to Singapore. We selected Singapore Airlines for our air travel and it was the best decision we took. The flight experience was amazing and totally mesmerizing.
Known as the Lion city, the Garden city and the Red dot, Singapore is one of the most popular tourist destinations in South-East Asia. We landed at Changi Airport early morning around 6 AM. So if you’re thinking of a short holiday not too far from India? Look no further than Singapore – the dynamic city-state, a short flight away from all major cities in India. A heady combination of Chinese, Indian, Malay and Western influences, Singapore is truly a cultural melting pot. Delicious food, high street shopping, contemporary arts – find all this and more.
During the whole trip, we had a tour guide with us, yes a tour guide in our pocket and its name is Coolpad Note 5 Lite. Indeed it was a tour guide, as it guided us with maps, then the places to eat/shop for and it’s awesome battery that helped us stay updated and on the mark every night.
We took Singapore Airlines from Delhi at 2210 Hours and reached Singapore at 0600 Hours [SG local time]. The flight experience was fantastic, very courteous staff, a plethora of movies and games during the entire journey and great food. Have a look on some of them below.
A Night shot that we took after landing at Singapore Changi Airport.
After the smooth start to explore Singapore, we headed towards Park Royal for the breakfast.
And finally to the Nanyang Executive Center which was our home for the next 7 Days.
By the way, Welcome to Singapore, this is what we found in the canteen mess at Nanyang Technological University.
Let us show you the NTU campus through the lens of our camera. This is the school of computer science and engineering.
Next, we headed in the MRT (Singapore’s metro) and here’s the ticket. Also, have a look at the skyrocket fine that they charge if you offend. So, be cautious in whatever you do.
Next place that we loved was china town and did some street shopping. You will find many shops which are selling souvenirs and some really cool stuff for girls.
The most beautiful and happening place at Night – Clarke Quey is a must visit. We had our dinner near this lake. There is a ferry ride from Clarke Quey which takes you directly to Marina Bay Sands hotel. It is another great place to visit.
This mind boggling view is heaven. We went to the 57th-floor marina bay sands and the view was phenomenal.
The stay at Singapore was short this time but the memories clicked with Coolpad Note 5 lite are so close to my heart. Hope you like our travelogue. See you next time!
